The images you are about to see were taken by me personally of photographs located in Ing. Carlo Chiti's office on his office walls...so they are not obviously of archival quality...
.
All of the handwriting writing found on the bottom of each photograph is that applied by Ing. Chiti in what might be considered to be one of his singular efforts to preserve the history of his magnificent cars.
Again, please excuse the resolution of these black and white images originally captured on Kodak color film in the Summer of 1972....from his actual office walls....and a few post-1973 images were added from the Alfa Romeo S.p.A. archives where he naturally would have obtained these later images...
This 2 liter "Periscopia" February 1967 prototype ....inscribed in Ing. Chiti's own handwriting.... was the winner of the Fleron hill climb in Belgium as driven in it's inaugural outing later that Spring by Teodoro Zeccoli.
Since then, the car has been affectionately called "Fleron".
The car has been meticulously restored, has been featured on our section "New Lives T-33- English"...and is depicted in original art by Vladimir Pajevic created especially for Autodelta Golden Years.com.
Once again, dear readers, these photos were taken of photgraphs located in Chiti's office...so they are not of archival quality....
Again, all of the writing found on the bottom of each photograph is that applied by Carlo Chiti himself in what might be considered to be one of his singular efforts to preserve the history of his magnificent cars.
I have not uncovered proof that Ing. Chiti was particularly concerned about his personal accomplishments or the cars that brought him a large measure of prestige or success. He was not fastidious in the maintenance of his archives or that of the tens of thousands of Autodelta blueprints..in the day when "blueprints" were really blue-line colored prints!
To him, the accomplishents of 'yesterday' were largely irrelevant.

The above picture of this T-33/3 liter was taken at the Norisring...driven by Ignazio Giunti.
This is actually a very unique 1969 3 liter coupe, which was only ever seen in two events...Enna and Hockingheim in the summer of 1969.

As you read in Ing. Chiti's own handwriting this is one of at least four T-33/3 Le Mans 'long tail' versions, as photographed at Balocco, six months prior to Le Mans.

The T-33 3 liter at Zeltweg 1000 Kilometers of Ostereichring in August of 1970. Observe the elimination of the headlights.
This is the 3 liter version of the V-8 prepared for Imola. Final chassis done in "monocoque" before the era of the "titanium tubulare" or "TT" chassis began to be constructed "Inside the Walls" at Autodelta Headquarters in Settimo Milanese during 1972 . The car depicted was a 1970-1971 version.
This is the basis car seen at Vallelunga in 1971 as the projected 1972 car but was heavily modified during the whole season of 1972. The design you see was not used the entire season. You could see it this way in Argentina and Daytona of the '72 season.
Photographed during testing with our friend Gian Luigi Picchi...one of the greatest champions in the history of Alfa Romeo racing and a true favorite of Ing. Chiti for his invincible winning style.

Debut March 1973.
Starting in this 33TT12...at Zeltweg in 1975 was the team of Derek Bell / Henri Pescarolo that won this event.
